The work "Linajes y Blasones de Galicia", by Father Crespo, where the heraldry and the history of the family name Buzeta appears, is the most important treatise of the heraldry of Galicia (Spain), and was published three hundred years after the appearance of the posthumous "Nobiliario, Armas y Triunfos de Galicia", by Father Felipe de la Gandara. Its author Father Crespo Pozo, had for his investigations, vigils and costly walks that were rewarded with the kind collaboration of Nobles as the Dukes of Medinaceli facilitating the archive of the Grand Casa Marquesal de Camarasa, etc. All this resulted in a plurality of sources of consultation that make the scholarly work, encyclopedic and illustrative in Galician heraldry. This work collects, as we have already said, the history and heraldry of family Buzeta so the Buzeta or they are Galician or linked in some of their branches to Galicia.

One of the most distinctive qualities of heraldry is the use of a limited palette of colours and patterns, usually referred to as tinctures. These are divided into three categories, known as metals, colours, and furs.

Next we are going to see the meanings of three tinctures:

1) SABLE: Black color that symbolizes Prudence, Sadness, Rigor, Honesty and Obedience.

2) GULES: Red color that symbolizes Strength, Victory, Daring and Highness.

3) OR (Gold): Nobility, Magnanimity, Wealth, Power, Light, Constancy and Wisdom.

Next lets look at the characteristics of some figures that we can find in heraldry and crests:

* ANJOU: The Chief of Anjou, belonging to Italian heraldry, represents a political alliance with the Welf party (derived from Welf, Duke of Bavaria) who were loyal to the Pope.

* CAULDRON: The Cauldrons along with other vessels: cups, jugs and kettles, which were used to handle victuals, were formerly the Richman brand.

* RIVER: The River symbolizes, due to its condition of increasing its flow as it advances, the Knight who leaves his house with a desire to advance and returns to it enriched with Erudition and Fortune.

* STAG: The Stag symbolizes Effortless Courage, which draws and recovers energy even on the most adverse occasions.

* SCEPTER: The Scepter represents Dignity.

* GOAT: The Goat symbolizes one who wins through politics rather than war.

* GRIFFIN: The Griffin, half eagle and half lion, is an emblem of Ingenuity and Greatness.

* TIGER: The Tiger represents Fierceness and Valour; Resentment; Dangerous if aroused.
